What moisturiser is best for you? 

We all know the power of moisturiser, yet it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation when it comes to cream. So, what type should be your go-to? Read on… 

Dry skin

It’s no surprise that those with dry, dehydrated skin need a lot more help to get that moisture in than women with oily or combination skin. Opt for thick moisturisers that are oil-based. Ingredients that’ll be your favourite friend are hemp seed oil, cucumber extract, and coconut oil. 

Oily skin 

Fact: Regardless of how much moisture you carry on your beautiful face, lotion is still a non-negotiable. Pick a water-based, light lotion and steer clear of oil-based products. Moisturisers containing hyaluronic acid are the ones for you – this helps to retain your natural moisture and prevent water loss. 

Sensitive skin 

Our top tip: ‘less is more’ – that is, the less ingredients combined in the moisturiser, the better, as there is a lower chance of getting irritation. Only select fragrance-free moisturisers – perfumed creams can sometimes irritate the skin.

Luckily, a lot of the beauty industry agrees with this sentiment, as there are just SO many creams to choose from that include SPF15+, 30+ and even 50+. We don’t want those harmful rays damaging your fabulous face. It’s all just another act of self-love, isn’t it, and we are here for that.
